En examinant successivement dans le manuscrit la disposition des instruments, la répartition des portées et le nombre de mesures, on essaie de montrer que les six Concertos Brandebourgeois forment un recueil cohérent. Il semble, en outre, que le titre du dédicataire soit inscrit dans l’œuvre et gouverne son agencement.

Examining successively in the manuscript the layout of the instruments, the distribution of the staves and the number of beats, the author tries to demonstrate that the six Brandenburg Concertos are the elements of a coherent collection. Furthermore, the title of the dedicataire seems to be introduced in the work and to govern its organization.
